Dragging between applications
You can use the drag and drop capability
to move or copy objects between
applications.
To move a copy of an object between
Illustrator documents or between
Illustrator and Photoshop documents
by dragging:

Open the document to which you
want to drag the object.

Select the object. Then position the
pointer on an anchor point or path
segment of the selected object.

Drag the object to its new location.
