Dragging to move or copy

Dragging lets you move or copy objects
in your artwork.

To move an object or a copy of an
object by dragging:

Select the object. Then position the

pointer on an anchor point or path
segment of the selected object.

Drag the object to its new location.

Hold down the Shift key to constrain the
object to multiples of 45 degrees.

To drag a copy of the object, hold down
the Option key as you drag.

Press the Option key

to copy the selection.
