Formatting bulleted lists
Next you’ll create a format for items in a bulleted list. You’ll work with the Step1 format
as a base, because it’s very close to the format you want.

Go to page 12 (or page 11 on some Windows systems) of the document by clicking in
the page number area of the status bar. Then type “12” in the Go to Page dialog box and
press Go.

Select the paragraph beginning with
What experience do they have
and drag to select
the paragraphs that follow it. The last paragraph in the selection should be

Choose Step1 from the Paragraph Formats pop-up menu in the formatting bar.
All the selected paragraphs are numbered 1.

In the Paragraph Designer, choose New Format from the Commands pop-up menu.
