(for 6 points) in the Grid Spacing text box in the Snap area of the View Options
dialog box and click Set.

Click the Graphics menu. If a check mark or filled in box appears next to the Snap
menu item, it indicates that the Snap command is on. If there is no check mark or filled
in box, then the Snap command is not on.

If Snap is not on, choose Graphics > Snap.
Creating a side-head area
The formats you create for your document will place second-level headings at the left edge
of the text frame (indicated by the dotted border); other text will appear to the right of
these headings. To achieve this effect, you’ll set up a
side-head area
—an area on one side
of the text frame that will contain headings.

Click anywhere in the first paragraph on page 1 to place an insertion point in the text.

Choose Format > Page Layout > Column Layout.

Select Room for Side Heads.
