3.4 Installing a Mini PCIe CAN Bus Module (optional)
Follow the instructions below to install a Mini PCIe CAN bus module.
1. Install the Mini PCIe CAN bus module into either of the
available card slots using two M2.5 screws.as described
in Step 2 on page 22 above for Mini PCIe LTE and Wi-Fi
modules.
2. Connect the one end of the Y-split cable to the module
and the two D-SUB connectors to the X7 and X8 ports
using the nut screws as shown below. Route the cable
accordingly depending on which card slot the module
has been installed in.
CAUTION:
Make sure that the cable is clear of the CPU as this will affect
the thermal performance of the system.
