SET COMMUNICATION:
This section define the fundamental communication parameters of SNMP Manager and DALI buses.
By Pressing the “
Set Communication
” button from the main window for SW67850 (Fig. 2) the window
“Set Communication” appears (Fig. 3).
The means of the fields for the “DALI” section are:
In the field “
DALI Console
Port
” the UDP port used for Ethernet communication is defined;
If the option “
Disable DALI Scan
” is checked, the automatic scanning of DALI side is disabled.
The DALI side is scanned only on Ethernet command;
If the option “
Enable DALI 2
” is checked, DALI 2 functions are enabled (normally used with
DALI sensors, actuators, exc.).
The means of the fields for “SNMP Agent” are:
In the field “
IP ADDRESS
” the IP address that you want to give to the SNMP side is defined;
In the field “
SUBNET
Mask
” the SubNet Mask of the SNMP side is defined;
In the field “
GATEWAY
” the default gateway that you want to use is defined. This feature can be
enabled or disabled pressing the Check Box field. This feature is used for going out of the net;
In the field "
Name of Station
" it is possible to assign a name to the SNMP node.
In the field "
Contact
" the contact for SNMP Agent station is defined;
In the field "
Location
" the location for SNMP Agent station is defined;
In the field “
Version
” the version of SNMP is defined;
If SNMP V3 is used, the following fields must be filled:

User
” the user for the SNMP authentication is defined;

In the field “
Security Level
” the type of security used is defined;
o
In the field “
Authority
” the password for the SNMP authentication is defined;
o
In the field “
Authority Mode
” the mode used for the authentication is defined;
o
In the field “
Privacy
” the password for Privacy authentication is defined;
o
In the field “
Privacy Mode
” the mode used for Privacy is defined.
