2.5. Visual indicator for CO2 concentration
By default a luminous indicator is activated in the device to inform the users’ room about the CO2 concentration and the Indoor Air Quality
(IAQ) and enable them to react.
This LED indicator is entirely configurable and can be deactivated through the IoT Configurator.
By default the thresholds considered are based on the French “Règlement Sanitaire Départemental Type” (RSDT), the national regulation:
Duration:
to preserve the battery and the autonomy of the sensor while allowing people to react quickly, a timer has been programed for each
state of the CO2 concentration measured.
First the LED blinks just after the reading (configured by the user), then if the LED indicator status stay unchanged, the LED flashes cyclically as
following:
• Green: every 10 minutes (S377)
• Orange: every 4 minutes (S378)
• Red: every 2 minutes (S379)
NOTE:
if a blackout period has been configured in the device, the LED are disabled during this period.
Orange
: ventilation advised
threshold between
1000 and 1300 ppm
Red
: ventilation is mandatory
Threshold > 1300 ppm
(S352)
Green
: IAQ is ok
threshold <1000 ppm
(S351)
