Once calibration is complete, the 3 LEDs will blink successively for 100 ms every 1
second for 5 cycles.
Automatic Calibration of the CO2 Sensor
📌
Automatic calibration is enabled by default in the sensor and is
performed continuously and cyclically over a 180-hour window
without any user intervention.
The 180-hour period is intended to allow the sensor to be exposed to "fresh" air at
least once or multiple times. This means obtaining CO2 measurements during low
occupancy of the observed area or during a period of low emissions or high
ventilation of the room. The sensor can compare the lowest observed values during
this period with the reference value and calibrate the sensor if necessary.
To avoid potential calibration of the sensor with an erroneous low value (due to
significant drift or an unintended signal variation), the embedded automatic
calibration algorithm has limits that prevent it from modifying the reference value if
the deviation is too large. In this context, the self-calibration cycle may be slightly
extended.
