3.3. Description of the registers
On start up the device operates according to the last saved configuration (Factory Configuration if it is the first start up, or if this configuration
has not been changed).
The IoT Configurator or a change command of the type ATS <n> = <m> allows you to change the content of the registers: <n> representing
the register number and <m> the value to be assigned. The latter is either a decimal value or a hexadecimal value consistent with the «Encod-
ing» column of the tables below.
As examples:
• ATS300 = 6 assigns the decimal value 6 to the 300 register
• ATS302 = 2 assigns hexadecimal value 0x02 to register 302
It is imperative to save the parameters by the command AT&W before exiting the Command mode otherwise all changes will be lost.
IMPORTANT: Undocumented registers (which may appear in the list following the AT/S command) in the following paragraphs are reserved and
must not be changed.
3.3.1 Function registers
The list of registers below allows you to change the behavior of the device application

Details
S300
2
Transmission period of the Keep
Alive frame
Decimal
Default: 8640
Min/max: 2 to 65535 Unit: x 10 seconds
The value of 8640 equals a period of 24 hours.
S301
2
Number of backups (history logs)
to be done before sending a
frame (thus defining the sending
period)
Decimal
Default: 1
Min/max: 0 to 65535
The value 1 equals 1 frame sent for each backup. The value 0 is
equivalent to disabling the periodic mode.
See note below
S303
1
Acknowledgment of the uplink
frames
Decimal
Default: 0 (disabled)
Min/max: 0 to 1
The value 1 activates the acknowledgment request
S304
1
PIN* code
Decimal
Default: 0 (disabled)
Min/max: 0 to 9999
PIN code used with the ATPIN command.
A value of 0 disables the PIN.
S306
2
Operating mode
Decimal
Default: 0
Switches the device to one of the following modes:
• 0: PARK mode
• 1: PRODUCTION mode
• 2: Reserved (do not use)
• 3: REPLI mode
S308
4
LED activity
Hexadeci-
mal
Default: 0x4007F Other possibility:
0x00000070: disable LEDs except low battery activity, REPLI
mode and faulty device
S320
2
Number of readings to be
performed before saving in the
history logs
Decimal
Default: 1
Min/max: 1 to 65535
The value 1 is equivalent to 1 backup per reading
S321
2
Period of acquisition (reading)
Decimal
Default: 1800
Min/max: 0 to 65535
Unit: x2 seconds
The value 1800 equals 1 hour (1800x2 / 60/60)
* The PIN code protects the device configuration. After 3 incorrect attempts the device is blocked. To unblock it, call the support service
Note concerning the register S301
3.3.1.02
Caution: in order to give more freedom to the user the device has not been limited to a maximum number of backups per
frame depending on the network used. We therefore strongly recommend not exceeding the maximum number of readings authorized by the
network if you do not want to lose data (the oldest readings will be overwritten in favor of the most recent ones). If this occurs, an indication
is given in the data-frame byte status (explained in section 4.1.8).
