IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
This portable lamp has a polarized plug (one
blade is wider than the other) as a feature to
reduce the risk of electric shock. This plug will fit
in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does
not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still
does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never
use with an extension cord unless plug can be
fully inserted. DO NOT ALTER THE PLUG.

1. Screw middle pole onto bent pole and tighten.
2. Screw bottom pole onto middle pole and tighten.
3. Screw bottom pole onto base to tighten.
4. In order to adjust the direction of the arc lamp
so that the arm is facing forward, please loosen the
washer on the bottom of the base using the wrench.
Once the lamp is facing the right direction, tighten
the washer back in place to secure the base
connection. Be sure the glass shade is hanging over
the base as shown in this picture.
5. Socket ring comes pre-assembled to the socket.
Before assembling the glass shade, please unscrew
this socket ring. Set glass shade onto socket and
tighten clockwise with socket ring to secure shade.
6. Install the bulb by screwing it into the socket.
