Code

Level 1
Master

Can perform all system functions in assigned partitions and can add, delete or change
Manager and Operator level users. Master codes can only be added by the Installer.

Level 2
Manager

Can perform system functions in assigned partitions and can add, delete or change
Operator level users.

Level 3
Operator
A

Can perform system functions in assigned partitions but cannot add or delete other
users.

Level 4
Operator
B

Same as Operator A, except Operator B cannot bypass zones of protection.

[4]

Level 5
Operator
C

Can arm the system in assigned partitions but cannot disarm the system unless the
system was armed with this code. This code is typically assigned to a trusted person
who may need to arm/disarm the system at certain times, i.e., a babysitter.

Level 6
Duress

Using this code to arm or disarm the system will send a silent panic alarm to the central
monitoring station, if that service is connected.

Trouble Conditions

Trouble conditions are indicated by the word CHECK and continual beeping from the touchpad. Any key
will silence the beeping. A display of CHECK + zone no. may indicate that a problem requires your
attention. Check the specified zone area, close any open doors or windows and enter your security code
and press [OFF]. If your system includes wireless sensors, the CHECK condition may be caused by some
change in the environment of the protected area.

To silence trouble beeps, press any key or enter your security code and press [OFF].

Volume

You can adjust the beep volume on your Ademco Vista 128. 

To 

increase

 the volume, press [#] + [0] + [2] + [3].

To 

decrease

 the volume, press [#] + [0] + [2] + [6].
