How to Connect Instruments
The connection required for the performance test of this instrument is shown in Figure 6-1.

How to Test the Performance
When testing the performance, avoid any dust, impact, and noise, and perform the test under the following
environmental conditions:

Warm-up
30 minutes or more
This instrument allows the different internal measurement path (sensor series path) according to the sensor
series (823x series or 821x series: option 70) connected to this instrument.
Because the specifications are different for each sensor series path, switch the path and perform the test.
The path can be switched by replacing the TRIAX-12pin conversion adapter A (for the 823x series path)
with TRIAX-12pin conversion adapter B (for the 821x series path).
1. Connect the sensor to this instrument and turn on the instrument.
2. Press the
[MENU]
key, and then
[PREV]
,
[PREV]
, and
[UP]
keys. CAL ON
blinks. Press the
[ENTER]
key. The instrument enters the CAL mode.
NOTE:
Even if the instrument enters the CAL mode, the calibration data remains
unchanged.
