Presets
You can select preset values which are calibrated to different situations. These elements are not ne-
cessarily ideal settings for all cases; they are to be considered as guidelines. They generally show
acceptable image settings for certain scenarios.
These preset values are the following:
•
Surveillance: General setting for basic motion detection and surveillance
•
Traffic: General setting for traffic observation
•
ANPR (free flow): Ideal for free-flow traffic license plate reading
•
ANPR (parking): Recommended for parking license plate reading
Exposure Zone
The Exposure Zone tab allows you to draw and enable the zone(s) the image control is based on using
polygons. If the area outside the expected area of license plate reading is disturbed or has an entirely
different illumination and brightness, you may mask the area for license plate reading to balance the
image control.
If the camera is included with on-board ANPR engine and your project does not involve parking,
use free flow values.
