Introduction
About Adaptec File Saver
Adaptec File Saver software works continuously in the background
on your computer to back up your files. Adaptec File Saver starts
automatically whenever you power on your computer. While
you’re working, Adaptec File Saver makes a backup copy of every
file you save; if you accidentally delete a file, you can restore it
from the backup copy.
If your computer becomes disconnected from the network,
Adaptec File Saver switches from actively backing up files (
Active
mode
) to keeping a list of new and changed files (
Logging
mode
).
When you reconnect to the network, Adaptec File Saver
automatically returns to Active mode, backs up all files in the
queue
(the list of new and changed files), and automatically resumes its
normal activity.
When you power off your computer, Adaptec File Saver shuts
down automatically.
