Adaptec Ultra320 SCSI Cards User’s Guide
If You Do Not Have Access to a Preinstalled
System
To create the driver disk for all operating systems:
1
Set your system BIOS so that your computer boots from the
CD-ROM drive.

Insert the Adaptec Installation CD into your CD-ROM drive
and turn on the computer.

Follow the instructions and respond to prompts as necessary to
get to the Adaptec Start Menu.

Click Create Driver Disk, then select the appropriate operating
system.

Select the appropriate floppy drive letter, then select the
appropriate format.

When prompted, insert a floppy disk and then click OK. The
system creates the driver disk.
7
Remove and label the driver disk.
Note:
If you are creating a driver disk for a non-Windows
operating system, you must insert a formatted floppy disk
into your A: drive.
