Installation Options
Some operating systems only allow the use of floppy disks to
supply driver files. The operating systems and the options
associated with them are shown in the table below. The installation
options are:

Obtain driver from the CD. Manually locate the driver.

Use the Disk Creation utility to create driver disks.
Note:
For UnixWare, Open Unix, and Linux, you can create the
necessary driver disk without using the Disk Creation utility.
Use the
DD
command and see
for the location of the image file on the Adaptec
Installation CD.
