REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF THE
BURNER - WM 120 EVO
Set-up conditions
•
Appliance shut down
•
External power supply isolated
•
Gas supply closed
•
Front and top panels removed (refer to ML booklet).

Removal procedure
1. Disconnect all plugs from the fan assembly (

the gas valve (

) and any grounding cable, as re-
quired.
2. Release clamp and remove air inlet hose from el-
bow (

3. Disconnect the air inlet elbows (

from the venturi

).
4. Disconnect the gas connection (

) flange from the
gas valve (

) by releasing four screws. Retain hard-
ware for reinstallation.
5. Discard O-ring.
6. Using a socket wrench, release the burner hood (

)
attaching hex. screws and retain them for reinstal-
lation.
7. Lift the burner assembly and pull it out of the ex-
changer with its insulation.
8. If required, clean the exchanger, see

Installation procedure
1. Reinstall the burner assembly with its insulation
into the exchanger.
2. Install the retaining screws of the burner hood
(

) and fasten them in a crosswise pattern at the
required tightening torque (refer to
3. Install a new O-ring on the gas connection (

)
flange.
4. Reconnect the gas connection (
1
) flange to the
gas valve (
2
)
using four retained screws.
When connecting the air inlet, make sure that
the check valve (4) is correctly located at the
elbow (3) end.
5. Reconnect the air inlet elbows (
3
).
6. Install the air inlet hose on the elbow (
3
) and se-
cure with retained clamp.
7. Reconnect the plugs to the gas valve (
2
) and the
fan assembly (

), and any disconnected ground-
ing cable.
