REVISION SUMMARY 

Under CLAIM INFORMATION, revised the flat rate time to 1.5 hours.  

INTRODUCTION 

This bulletin covers the total quality inspection (TQI) of the 2016 RLX. It includes these procedures: 

1. 

Remove the Exterior Protective Coatings

Initialize the Tire Pressure Monitoring System 
(TPMS)

Install the Fuses 

11. 

Do the Idle Learn Procedure 

3. 

Remove the Interior Protective Coverings 

12. 

Install the Shift Lock Release Cover 

4. 

Install the Floor Mats 

13. 

Initialize the Audio-Navigation Unit Anti-Theft 
Function and Set the AM/FM Audio Unit Presets  

5. 

Check the Battery 

14. 

Check/Refresh the XM Satellite Radio Dealer Demo 
Service (Except in Alaska and Hawaii)  

6. 

Install the Body Plugs 

15. 

Check the ACC, LKAS, LDW, FCW, and CMBS 
Indicators (If Equipped) 

7. 

Install the Front License Plate Holder 

16. 

Check the Head-Up Warning (HUW) Indicator 

8. 

Clean the Rear License Plate Area and Install 
the Mounting Hardware 

17. 

Check Voice System Interaction 

9. 

Set the Tire Pressures

Check
