 35. Check that all wire harnesses are routed properly

and all connectors are plugged in.

 36. Reinstall all removed parts, except the driver’s

dashboard lower cover.

 37. Route the 3-pin connector from the disarm switch

on the driver’s dashboard lower cover over the
knee bolster to the 3-pin connector blue-taped to
the vehicle harness behind the fuse box. Remove
the blue tape to free the connector, and plug the
3-pin connector from the disarm switch into this
connector.

 38. Reinstall the driver’s dashboard lower cover.

 39. Route the security system harness between the

steering shaft and vehicle harness and plug its
22-pin connector (marked A) into the control unit.
Press the wire harness clip on the security system
harness into the hole in the control unit bracket.

 40. Secure the security system wire harness to the

vehicle harness with one short wire
tie as shown.

 41. On the front driver’s door, remove the cap from

the inner handle trim, and remove the self-tapping
screw concealed under the cap.

 42. Pull the door handle, and remove the inner handle

trim by sliding it rearward.

 43. Remove the self-tapping screw fastening the door

pull pocket and remove the pocket by pulling it
upward.

 44. Remove the clip from the front of the door lining,

then pry up on the eight retaining clips on the
back of the door lining.
