6.4.2 Assembly of electric motor
The elecric motor (7) is included in the scope of supply of the electric pack. The supply
cable (5) is 5 m long and connected to the electric motor at our works. Connection is in
accordance with protection type IP68.
CAUTION
Before the electric motor is fitted, make sure that the operating seal is 90%
open.
The cable connections, firmly screwed down at our works, must not be loosened as this
would affect security provided against flooding.
A manual opening/closing of the operating seal is possible by turning the driveshaft
with the help of the protective cover (10), alternatively with a hexagon socket wrench
(12 mm).

Open operating seal completely by
turning the driveshaft anti-clockwise;
then by 3 rotations clockwise.

Remove protective cover (10) for
driveshaft (1)

Fit electric motor (7) and screw down

6.4.3 Connect motor supply cable

Connect motor supply cable (5) by
means of electric coupling device
to fixation plate at the control (8).
Connection is in accordance with
protection type IP67.
Fix the excess cable in loose, not to small
loops, in a suspended arrangement.
