6.3 Sanitary
installation
6.3.1 Installation in the above ground pipeline
The automatic antiflood protection system must be accessible at any time for operation
and maintenance.
Working steps:
£
Assemble backflow stop
exposed, e. g. at wall
or
in local shaft.
£
Insert backflow stop in flow direction
and align horizontally
CAUTION:
Do not install backfl ow stop tilted - neither sidewards nor towards front or
back. Functional parts (operating seal, emergency seal, cover etc.) may not be polluted
by construction material and thus affected in its function.
The backflow stop may not be concreted in.
£
Connect pipelines according to
respective layout instructions (plastic,
steel, cast iron or stoneware), drop in
height = 12 mm.
£
If the pipeline is laid along a wall, two
pipe supports have to be mounted
around the pipeline shortly before and
shortly after the backflow stop and to
be fixed at wall.
The backflow stop must be fixed in situ,
e. g. by brackets.
