4.5.4 Operational readiness with mains voltage failure
This sub-chapter holds information on the functionality of the automatic antiflood
protection system in the case of mains voltage failure.

Accumulator operation
If mains voltage fails, the control switches to accumulator operation automatically.
During accumulator operation, the green LED 1 (1) flashes, all functions and fault
signals of normal operation persist for approx. 12 h. After this period, the control
changes automatically to the stop mode. If the accumulator voltage decreases already
within these 12 h, the stop mode is initiated before. If mains voltage is again available,
the control automatically changes to normal operation.
Stop mode
If stop mode starts, the operating seal (8) is automatically closed, the control changes
to a stop position to preserve the accumulator. Every 30 seconds, an audible and visual
warning is carried out. For 2 seconds, the buzzer (7) sounds, the LED 1 (1) and LED 3
(3) flash at the same time.
Wake up
By pressing button 2 (6), the control is woken up for 30 seconds and displays current
operating condition. Then, the device changes again to the stop mode.
Opening of the operating seal in the stop mode
By pressing button 2 (6) during the waking up which lasts 30 seconds, the operating
seal (8) is opened. After the opening process, the control switches off automatically.
If mains voltage is again available, the control changes automatically to normal
operation, independent if it is in the stop mode or in switched-off mode.
