Product description

4.5.1  Function in normal operation

In normal operation mains voltage
persists, the green LED 1 (1) lights up
permanently and the buzzer is out. The
operating seal (8) and the emergency
seal (9) are opened. Arriving wastewater
from drainage objects (WC, shower,
washing basin) can drain off unobst-
ructedly.

4.5.2  Automatic antiflood protection system

In the case of backflow, pipe fills up with
wastewater from the public sewers. The
generating back pressure is handed on
to the pressure sensor integrated in the
control by means of the pressure hose
(11). For the unobjectionable function of
the pressure sensor, permanently rising
laying of pressure hose (11) is of utmost
importance.

If the admissible filling level is exceeded, the red LED 2 (2) lights up permanently.
The control causes the operating seal (8) to be automatically closed by means of
the elecrtric motor (10) with a delay of 3 seconds. The yellow LED operating seal
(3) flashes during the closing lasting for 17 seconds. The delay time of 3 seconds
avoids a backflow alarm in the case of short-time splashes.

If the operating seal (8) is obstructed during its run in its defined final position
(e. g. by deposits), then it opens and tries to close for a second time automatically.
If the operating seal (8), however, cannot reach its defined final position, a motor
fault is signalled. The red LED 4 (4) lights up permanently, and at the same time, an
interval tone sounds through the buzzer (7).

If the operating seal (8) is closed, the yellow LED 3 (3) lights up permanently and a
permanent tone sounds through the buzzer (7).

If the admissible filling level in the pipeline is undercut, the red LED 2 (2) goes out.
The control causes the operating seal (8) to be opened automatically with a delay of
30 seconds. During the opening, the yellow LED 3 (3) flashes. After the operating
seal has opened completely, the permanent buzzer sound goes out.

The delay time of 30 seconds prevents a premature opening of the operating seal
(8) in the case of short-time relief of backflow situation.
