An outdoor cabinet for
accommodating the backflow loop
can be purchased from ACO as an
optional product.
■
ACO recommends that the backflow
loop is created in PE-HD using
mirror-image welding with short-
legged bends or in PVC-U in an
adhesive process on site.
Î
Make a hole in the ground for the outdoor
cabinet (3), note the buried depth (1)
(
outdoor cabinet data sheet).
Î
Make the foundation (2) for the outdoor
cabinet (3).
Î
Install and fix the outdoor cabinet (3) onto
a foundation (2).
Î
Install the on-site pressure pipe in the
outdoor cabinet as a backflow loop (4).
Î
Backfill the excavated hole.

3.3.11 Leak test
WARNING
Danger of injury caused by incorrect execution

Any resulting buoyancy forces acting on the cover plate due to the water
filling must be compensated for by applying an additional load to the shaft
structure.
All drainage systems on private ground must be leaktight (only applies to Germany. Provisions in
other countries can vary).
The requirements and provisions for the leak test sequence must be enquired about for each
individual country.
IMPORTANT
■
Leak tests must be executed on the whole plant by a specialist company before
backfilling the excavation pit.

Fill the separator chamber first.
