Security Sticker
The SGM3000 Series meter housing provides space for affixing a security sticker. A security
sticker can be affixed at the terminal cover joint and meter cover joint and would be used as a
method of visible tamper detection as an alternative or addition to a wire seal.
2.9 Liquid Crystal Display
The SGM3000 Series meters have a visible LCD (liquid crystal display) located on the face of the
meter. The LCD displays of up to 7 numeric digits. Up to 3 digits may be configured as decimal
places. The LCD has a backlight that will illuminate the display when a button is pressed.
The LCD displays the following:

Characters of K, W, V, A, r, h.
•
Constant display of the meter status
•
Whether there is voltage detected on phase A
•
Whether there is voltage detected on phase B

Three phase meters only
•
Whether is voltage detected on phase C
—
Three phase and dual element meters only
•
State of the primary supply relay

If installed
•
State of the load control relay
—
If installed
•
Signal strength as reported by the AMI module
•
Whether there is communication across the AMI module
•
Signal strength as reported by the HAN module
•
Whether there is communication across the HAN network

Whether there is energy flowing from the premise to the network

Various data values, meter status, and indications

Current data values in all time of use (TOU) registers
•
Multiple symbols for currency units (

•
Time remaining before a meter is to be reconnected after a supply disconnection

2.10 Memory
The SGM3000 Series meters have a nonvolatile storage medium for storage of all measurement
data and basic meter information.
