Supply Disconnect and Reconnect
Load Limiting
The SGM1400-B Series meters support automatic disconnection of supply if the
delivered power from the network to the customer exceeds a predefined average
threshold over a predefined period of time.
When this functionality is enabled, the service will be disconnected if the average
consumption over the configured period of time exceeds the configured threshold.
The service will be reestablished once the power does not exceed the threshold
during that period of time.
Under/Over Frequency
The SGM1400-B Series meters support disconnection of service if the supply
frequency goes above an upper limit or below a lower limit.
When this functionality is enabled, the contactor will be disconnected until the
supply frequency is no longer above/below the limit.
Sag/Swell
The SGM1400-B Series meters support disconnection of service if the supply
voltage goes above an upper limit or below a lower limit.
When this functionality is enabled, the contactor will be disconnected for a
defined period of time if the average voltage over a configured period of time
exceeds either of the configured thresholds.
Under/Over Voltage
The SGM1400-B Series meters support disconnection of service if the supply
voltage goes above an upper limit or below a lower limit for an extended period.
When this functionality is enabled, the contactor will be disconnected for a
defined period of time if the average voltage over a configured period of time
exceeds either of the configured thresholds.
Over Current
The SGM1400-B Series meters support automatic disconnection of supply if the
measured current exceeds a predefined average threshold over a predefined period
of time.
When this functionality is enabled, the service will be disconnected for a defined
period of time if the average current over the configured period of time exceeds
the configured threshold.
For the SGM1422-B, the second element can be independently monitored.
Power Factor
The SGM1400-B Series meters support automatic disconnection of supply if the
calculated power factor goes below a predefined average threshold over a
predefined period of time.
When this functionality is enabled, the service will be disconnected if the average
consumption over the configured period of time is less than the configured
threshold. The service will be reestablished once the calculated power factor is no
longer below the threshold.
