If the flues are to be removed for cleaning, the cor-
rect connection of the stove to the chimney system
must be approved by the local chimney sweep or
heating professional.
Faults, causes
Guarantee
The seller takes on the guarantee for this device fully
in accordance with the relevant national legal
requirements (subsequently referred to only as
"National legal requirements") that the purchasing
contract closed between the seller and the pur-
chaser (subsequently referred to only as "Purchasing
contract") is subject to.
The binding National legal requirements always take
priority over the conditions set out in these operating
instructions.
If these instructions do not contradict the National
legal requirements or if the National legal require-
ments do not determine otherwise, the following reg-
ulation applies to the purchasing contract:
General
The seller offers a two year guarantee for this unit
within the framework of the guarantee guidelines, the
exception to this are physical expansion noises as
well as parts that come into direct contact with fire,
fireclay, glass, seals, consumables. The guarantee
starts with the day of delivery. The invoice is to be
used as the proof of purchase.
Guarantee guidelines

The seller takes on the guarantee for a period of
two years as of delivery to the end consumer for
1a) Perfect material properties meeting the purpose
and for the manufacturing,
1b) Correct construction
1c) Maintenance of the nominal heating perfor-
mance (Watt) in accordance with DIN 18891/
EN13240 and room heating capability in accord-
ance with DIN 18893 (see device type plate,
technical data on the unit datasheet or prospec-
tus specifications). The guarantees 1) through 2)
extend to the free repair of the device or the
claimed parts. A claim for free replacement is
only in place for parts which display faults in the
material and workmanship. Further claims are
excluded.

The seller does not guarantee for damage and
faults to devices or parts thereof that are caused
by:
2a) Exterior, chemical or physical effects of trans-
portation, storage, set-up and use of the device
(e.g. shocking with water, food that boils over,
condensation, overheating as a result of incor-
rect operation (e.g. open ash compartment
door), hairline cracks formed in enamel parts is
not a lack of quality,
2b) Incorrectly selected stove size,
2c) Not observing the relevant appropriate con-
struction regulations,
2d) Error in the set-up and connection of the device,
2e) Insufficient or too strong a chimney draught,
2f) Unprofessionally carried out maintenance work
or other, in particular, subsequent changes to
the fireplace or exhaust pipe (stove flue and
chimney),
2g) Use of unsuitable fuels,
2h) Incorrect operation; overloading of the device
(see operating instructions of the manufacturer),
2i) Wear of those parts directly exposed to the
flames and made of iron, fireclay or glass, insofar
as they are not covered by the guarantee (1a),
2j) Incorrect handling,
2k) Insufficient care, use of unsuitable cleaning
agents.
Complaints
Complaints should only be made to your dealer or
store. Always give the type and manufacturer num-
ber of your chimney when complaining. This informa-
tion can be found on the type plate on the rear of
your device.
Notes regarding replacement part
orders
When ordering replacement parts, always give the
type and manufacturer number of your stove. This
information can be found on the type plate on the
rear of your device or on the device datasheet/
inspection book. Please note the technical drawing
and tables on the device datasheet, here you will find
the correct name of the required replacement parts.
Caution! The fireplace may not be modified! Only
those replacement parts may be used that are per-
mitted/offered by the manufacturer. If need be,
please consult your dealer.
Disposal
Disposing of the device
This device may not be disposed of with the house-
hold waste! Ensure it is disposed of professionally.
Information can be obtained from the relevant waste
disposal authorities.
Disposal of the packaging
The packaging consists of cardboard and
correspondingly marked plastics that can
be recycled.
The stove heats badly
or smokes if:
