To access the router interface configuration:

From the Router menu (see
), select Interface.
The Interface menu is displayed.

An optional name that describes this
interface (does not have to be a unique

Up to 32 alphanumeric
characters;
case-sensitive
IP address
IP address of the router interface.
Note:
•
For PPPoE interface type (see below),
0.0.0.0 must be used to indicate that
the IP is allocated dynamically by the PPP
session.
•
The IP address cannot be included in the
subnet of one of the configured
interfaces.
0.0.0.0 –
255.255.255.255 (any
legal IP address)
Default: 0.0.0.0
