Change settings using the text file or app
Change these settings as required directly in the text file and save them. ACE View
will revert to your individual settings the next time you use the device.
CAUTION: The changes can also be implemented using the related app called
E7E9-WiFi (Android / Google Play Store) resp. E7E9 (iOS / App Store).
Switch on or off the time and date stamp
Change the value at DATE_STAMP to 1 in order to activate a time stamp on your
videos.
Change the video resolution
Change the value at VIDEO RESOLUTION to 0 (for 1080p@30fps) or 1 (for
720p@60fps).
CAUTION: You can also just change the resolution using the Wi-Fi button as
described above.
Audio volume
Change the value at AUDIO_VOLUME to 0 for maximum volume. 1 corresponds to
medium volume and 2 corresponds to quiet volume. 3 switches the microphone off
completely.
Switch on or off battery status warnings
Change the value at LOW_BATTERY_HINTING to 0 so that the device warns you that
it has a low battery a minute before the end of the battery’s life. 1 corresponds to
three minutes, 2 corresponds to five minutes.
Automatic standby mode
Change the value at AUTO_POWER_OFF to 1 for 3 minutes standby time. 2
corresponds to 5 minutes, 3 corresponds to 10 minutes and 0 switches the standby
mode off completely.
Change recording interval
Change the value at RECORDING FILE LENGTH to 0, if you wish so that ACE View
ends the playback after 5 minutes each time and starts a new video recording. 1
corresponds to 15 minutes, 2 corresponds to 30 minutes.
