Step 4: Mount the hybrid module on the wall
Note
A moulded part in the recess of the back plate serves as an anti-removal wall contact.

Place the hybrid module on the wall and align it vertically. Use the base plate as a drilling
template and mark the three fixing points.

Drill the holes in the wall to fit the diameter of the screw anchors. Insert the screw anchors
supplied, in the holes.

Insert the supplied screws through the fixing holes of the hybrid module. Turn the screws in
the screw anchors. Do not tighten the screws yet. Vertically align the hybrid module once
more. Now tighten the screws.
Step 5: Wire the hybrid module
Danger
The hybrid module and connected components work with Safety Extra Low Voltage
(SELV) .
SELV < 25 V AC or < 60 V DC
These voltages do not pose a threat to animals or children.
If the nominal voltage is below 25 V for alternating current or below 60 V for direct
current, then there is no need for protection against direct contact with SELV.
The typical alarm system connections are designed for Safety Extra Low Voltage
(SELV).
The circuits of the zones, the circuits of the switch outputs (contact capacity relay
24 V AC rms or 30 V DC) and the 12 V power supply of the ABUS alarm panels and
other components also operate in this voltage range.
