(10). CD1 and AUX1 Headers: CD Audio and Auxiliary audio signal input headers
These connectors connect to the audio output of
internal CD-ROM drive or add-on card.
(11). CROM: S2K Mode Select Header
You can set the S2K bus, the bus between CPU and
North Brige, operating mode as figure below. When
setting jumper CROM to “
Strapping from boot
ROM ” (Default), the timing of S2K bus is
controlled by the internal boot rom and you enable
the option “
CPU Fast Command Decode
” in the
BIOS. The system performance will increase. When
the jumper is set to “
Strapping from Hardware ”,
the timing of S2K bus is controlled by CPU
hardware and the system has better flexibility.
