Backups and reinstallation
Your Control 18 can be connected to a computer in order to make a backup of the settings
and recordings of your transmitter. The backup copy can be used to reinstall the settings
and recordings onto your transmitter. Use the accessories Control Tool USB Interface and
Adapter 8-pole Mini Din/7-pole slits (sold separately). The software can be downloaded from
Abilia’s website. www.abilia.org.uk. See instructions on the website.
Locking for transport
When moving the Control 18 between different places it is possible to lock the buttons to
prevent Control 18 from starting by accident and avoid unnecessary power consumption.
Do as follows to lock/unlock:

at the same time to lock. The indication lamp for the Level -button flashes.
To unlock just press

Cleaning
Your Control 18 can be cleaned with a damp cotton wool pad with surgical spirit,
Chlorhexidine or ethyl alcohol.
It can also be cleaned with a damp cloth (weak solution of washing up liquid). Wipe dry after
cleaning.
Warning!
Do not use any disinfectant except surgical spirit, Chlorhexidine or
ethyl alcohol.
These liquids are inflammable, handle with care!
