7 Operation
7.1 Inserting or replacing the wire feed rolls
The following wire feed rolls are each available for the corresponding wire diameters:
— Wire feed roll with V-groove for hard wires (e.g., CuSi 3/steel/stainless steel)
— Wire feed roll with U-groove for soft wires (e.g., aluminum wires)

Open the housing cover at the lug and lift the
cover up.

Push the clamping lever up to release the latch.

Swivel the rocker arm to the side.

To release the drive rolls

, turn the quick-clamp
device

counterclockwise by 90°.

To loosen the pressure rolls, unscrew the quick-
clamp device of the rocker arm
(A)
and pull it
upwards.

Remove the drive rolls upwards.

Remove the pressure rolls from the side of the
rocker arm.

Insert new drive rolls and pressure rolls.

Attach again in reverse order.
