1 Identification
The MF3-Laser Front/Rear is a four-roll drive that is solely used as a wire feed. It is part of the MFS wire
feeder system and is used for the delivery of welding wire or solder for laser applications. All media
(coolant, shielding gas, or welding current) required for the joining process can be supplied separately.
The device may be operated only with original ABICOR BINZEL spare parts.
These operating instructions describe only the MF3-Laser Front/Rear master feeder. When used in these
operating instructions, the terms “machine”, “device”, and “system” always refer to the MF3-Laser Front/
Rear four-roll drive.
1.1 Marking
This product fulfills the requirements that apply to the market to which it has been introduced.
A corresponding marking has been affixed to the product, if required.
1.2 Nameplate
The device is labeled by means of a nameplate on the housing.
