7 Operation
Carry out each step in accordance with the figure below:
The operating system boots and the MFS service software starts automatically. Following correct
configuration of the MFS service software, a connection with the eBOX can be established.
For more precise details about the configuration of the MFS service software, refer to the BAL.0420.0
operating manual.
8 Putting out of operation

Close the service software and shut down the Windows operating system correctly.
9 Maintenance and cleaning
Under normal operating conditions, the MF Control does not require maintenance. Regular cleaning,
however, is a prerequisite for a long life and a trouble-free operation. Clean the screen with a screen
cleaning cloth designed for use on LCD displays.

NOTICE
• If the eBOX is switched off while the MF Control is actively running, power to the MF Control will be
immediately cut and it will not be shut down correctly. Data may be lost!
DANGER
Electric shock
Dangerous voltage due to defective cables.
• Check all live cables and connections for proper installation and damage.
• Replace any damaged, deformed or worn parts.
NOTICE
• The specified maintenance intervals are standard values and refer to single-shift operation.
• Maintenance and cleaning work may only be carried out by qualified specialists (in Germany,
see TRBS 1203).
