2.4 Classification of the warnings
The warnings used in the operating instructions are divided into four different levels and shown prior to potentially dangerous
work steps. Arranged in descending order of importance, they have the following meanings:
2.5 Specific safety instructions
The device has been built in line with the most current technology and recognized safety rules and should be used for its
intended purpose as follows:
• This device has been manufactured in accordance with the harmonized standard EN 60974-10 and has been classified
as a Class A device. Class A equipment should not be used in residential areas where electrical power is supplied by
a public low voltage power supply network.
• The equipment may be used only in an environment that is free of dust, acid, gas and corrosive substances.
• The equipment may not be used at a height of more than 2000 m (6500 feet) above sea level.
• This device may be used only for commercial purposes in an industrial environment. The manufacturer does not accept
liability for damage that has been caused through use of the equipment in the home.
• Consult the documentation provided by the manufacturer of the welding and/or robot system.
DANGER
Describes an imminent threatening danger. If not avoided, this will result in fatal or extremely critical injuries.
WARNING
Describes a potentially dangerous situation. If not avoided, this may result in serious injuries.
CAUTION
Describes a potentially harmful situation. If not avoided, this may result in slight or minor injuries.
NOTICE
Describes the risk of impairing work results or potential material damage to the equipment.
DANGER

Hazard due to electromagnetic fields
• Cardiac pacemakers and hearing aids may not work properly (obtain medical advice if required).
• Possible interference with electrical devices in the surrounding area.
