6.4 Attaching the cable assembly to the robot
6.4.1 iCAT mini for ABIROB
®

The cable assembly is guided through the mounted robot mount.

Mount the cable assembly
in the mounting direction.

Screw the cable assembly flange
to the
iCAT mini
release flange
with seven
cylinder head screws M4 × 16
. Max. tightening torque 4 Nm.

Connect the control lead for collision stop
with the
iCAT mini
plug

Mount the bellows
The following position numbers refer to:

Fix the wire feeder
to the wire feeder mount

Attach the cable assembly
with machine connection to the wire feeder

Mount the control lead for collision stop
8
Loosen the mounting screws on the wire feeder
NOTICE
• After mounting is complete, check for any leaks.
• All leads (control lead, shielding gas, compressed air lines, and coolant hoses) must be
mounted torsion-free and with sufficient play.
• Consult the documentation for the welding components.
