6.2 Mounting the wire guide liner
1 Lay down the cable assembly (8) straight.

Remove gas nozzle

3 Unscrew retaining sleeve (6) from central connector (4) .

Slide liner

through the wire conduit

up to the retaining nipple

5 Screw in retaining sleeve (6) by hand.

Cut off the excess length of the liner

flush with the torch neck

and
pull out the liner

7 Sharpen the spiral guide liner beginning to an angle of approx. 40° and
debur the cutting point.

Slide sharpened liner

through the wire conduit

up to the retaining
nipple

9 Screw in retaining sleeve (6) and tighten it.

Screw in gas diffuser

, tip adaptor

and contact tip

and attach
gas nozzle

NOTE
• New still unused liners have to be shortened to the actual length of the
cable assembly.
