machine cutting torch
6.2.1 Machine torch body
The machine torch body and handle tube have a cylindrical design. In combination with the
mount, the machine torch can be easily attached to an automatic guide carriage.
The machine cutting torches are available in the three output currents 70 A, 110 A and 150 A,
each based on a duty cycle of 60%. The cutting torch nozzles and torch body axis are
positioned in a straight line. The plasma nozzle, protective cap, swirl ring, electrode and
insulator are all wear parts that can be easily replaced by inserting or screwing on spare parts.
To protect the operator, the screw-on protective cap is equipped with a safety cut-out
mechanism, which will automatically interrupt the inrush current circuit if the protective cap is
removed.
6.2.2 Cable assembly
The cable assemblies are tailored to the output currents of the cutting torch heads. They are
available in a standard length of 6 m with a direct or central connector.
6.2.3 Accessories
Small and large circular torch guide sets
• Circular parts with a diameter of approx. 100 to 1,000 mm can be cut with the

71 HF/111 HF/151 HF manual cutting torches by using circular torch
guides.
• The torch carriage is clamped to the protective cap.
NOTICE
• When tightening the set screw to clamp the torch carriage into place, ensure that the
protective cap is not subject to excessive pressure, damaging the inside thread.
