10 Troubleshooting

The following maintenance schedule represents the absolute minimum required. Maintenance at more frequent intervals is
necessary if the device is operated under harsh ambient conditions. Replace damaged parts immediately.
Refer to the maintenance schedule for checking, cleaning, and replacing components.

Use a wire brush to clean components to which weld spatter generally adheres and scour with compressed air. Mount
or replace, if necessary.

Check all cables and plastic sheaths for damage and soiling and replace if necessary.

Check that all connections are secure.

• Inspect the power cable and plug in
correctly, if necessary.
• The fuse has blown
• Check the fuse and replace it as
needed. If it is functioning properly,
contact customer service.
• Leads/transmission belt have come loose or
motor is blocked
• Consult your specialist dealer or the
manufacturer.
Guide rollers do not
turn
• One or both guide rollers are defective
• Replace guide rollers
• Guide rollers are dirty
• Clean guide rollers
Wheel thumps
• Wheel is improperly attached
• Tighten the screw to attach the wheel
correctly.
