Troubleshooting
Refer to the printer manuals for a list of the most common printer
problems and how to solve them. If the problem is not resolved, contact
the Abbott Customer Support Center for assistance at
1 (800) CELL DYN.
NOTE: If, during routine system operation, the message
PRINTER UNAVAILABLE is displayed on the bulletin line,
check to see that the printer cable is securely connected to the
Data Station, the printer power switch is turned ON, and that the
SEL indicator is illuminated. Press the [PRINT] key on the Data
Station screen. If the message is still displayed, turn the printer
power OFF, wait about five seconds, turn the power ON again
and press the [PRINT] key on the Data Station screen. If the
message is still displayed, there may be an internal printer error.
