3  Operating the device 

3.1  Start and stop operation 

  This device operates by touch start. 

  The mixer will automatically start when the rubber cup 

is pressed down.   

  The device will stop when the test tube is removed. 

  The mixer has one speed setting at 4500 RPM.   

 
 
 
 
 
 

4  System maintenance and troubleshooting 

4.1  Safety precautions 

  The vortex mixer should be used only for the application specified in the manual. It 

must not be operated in hazardous or flammable environments. 

  Do not move the device while it is in operation. 

  Do not use substances that are hazardous, explosive or highly reactive with this mixer. 

  Only use tubes that have a diameter of 30 mm or less. 

  To avoid spillage, cover tubes before mixing contents. Do not overfill the tubes.   

  If liquid is spilled on the rotor, the mixer must be cleaned immediately. 

  Do  not use the device  if they show any signs  of external mechanical or electrical 

damages. 

  Do not fill tubes while they are on the device. Liquid spillage may damage the device. 

  Do not immerse the mixer in liquid or pour liquid over it. 

 
 

4.2  Instrument disinfection 

After using dangerous and/or infectious substances, disinfect the apparatus:
