9.8.4
Event function EVENT
M11751-2 v5
Prepare the IED for verification of settings as outlined in section
chapter.
During testing, the IED can be set when in test mode from PST. The functionality of the event
reporting during test mode is set in the Parameter Setting tool in PCM600.
•
Use event masks
•
Report no events
•
Report all events
In test mode, individual event blocks can be blocked from PCM600.
9.8.5
Limit counter L4UFCNT
GUID-7EBDC372-3407-4577-8B9A-6AB1758A1F34 v2
The Limit counter function L4UFCNT can be tested by connecting a binary input to the counter
and applying pulses to the counter. The speed of the pulses must not exceed the cycle time of
the function. Normally the counter will be tested when testing the function that the counter is
connected to, such as the trip function. When the function is configured, test it together with
the function that operates it. Trigger the function and check that the counter result
corresponds to the number of operations.
9.8.5.1
Completing the test
GUID-325F040B-BADC-4281-B965-9B7D6BFA3E15 v2
Continue to test another function or end the test by changing the Test mode setting to
Off.
Restore connections and settings to their original values, if they were changed for testing
purposes.
9.8.6
Voltage harmonic monitoring VHMMHAI
GUID-B2F24353-AAEA-4520-BB1C-5FD5FFCFC67B v1
GUID-804F309E-B02F-4F6B-B0FC-2C7AE3F12DBA v2
Prepare the IED for verification of settings outlined in Section
.
9.8.6.1
Verifying the signals and settings
GUID-1A5BBF82-94AE-4E87-B951-CA007CC36CF1 v1
The voltage can be injected using common test equipment.
Verifying the warning and alarm time limit of
THD, WrnLimitTHD and tDelayAlmTHD
GUID-3E56D8AC-9461-4EEA-83A8-522CA177563E v1
1.
Supply the IED with voltage at rated value.
2.
Apply harmonics at the numerical multiple of fundamental frequency along with the
injected voltage signal.
3.
Slowly increase the harmonic amplitudes until the THDWRN signal appears.
4.
Compare the harmonic amplitude level value with the set warning limit value.
5.
Continue to inject the same level of harmonics level until the THDALM signal appears and
note down the time from THDWRN set to THDALM set.
6.
Compare the noted time value with the set time limit value of alarm.
