6.4.1.3. Cable Shielding, routing and separate earth wires
The shields have to be connected to the earthing busbar next to the converter phase
connections.
– To fulfill EMC requirements, screened cables are mandatory.
– If the cross-section of the cable screen is less than 50% of the cross-section of the phase
conductor, an additional equipotential bonding conductor is required. This conductor is
laid in parallel to the phase conductor.
