4.2.1.5. Securing cabinets to the pallet
The final stage of the packing process is to secure the cabinet to the pallet. Use band
strapping for the large cabinets and polypropylene strapping for BRUs.
Securing a large cabinet to the pallet
1.
Place 2 support beams (1) at least 60 cm in from each end of the cabinet roof and then
slide the main beams (2) over the support beams.
NOTICE
Avoid obstructions when you place the beams. The mains beam must remain
within the pallet footprint (gray).

Secure the converter cabinet to the pallet by running band strapping through the base
of the pallet and over the beams on the cabinet roof.
3.
Wrap the strapping buckles with bubble wrap and ABB tape.
