4.2.1.3. Applying the foil barrier
The foil barrier provides protection during transport. The barrier is created by wrapping the
cabinet (front, back, and sides) with polyethylene (PE) film (minimum 0.12 mm thick).
1.
Align the film vertically to the back wall of the converter with the excess foil at the top
and then attach the film with several pieces of no-residue tape.
NOTE – Start at the back of the converter and continue to the front.
2.
Apply tape to the vertical edge of the overlap where the 2 ends of the film meets.
