3.4 Connecting electricity and media
Overview
When the GWT C9 is attached onto an ABB robot with a DressPack LeanID all
electrical connections, except for the welding power, are made through three
circular connectors. The welding power is transferred through the a Robifix
connection. This is further described in the section
Electrical connectors on page 26
If another robot or DressPack is used, some additional cables and connectors may
be needed.
The procedure below describes the steps required for connecting electricity and
media to the GWT C9.

bot working area.

Make sure that the DressPack is in-
stalled correct to the robot before
connecting the GWT C9. If not, in-
stall the DressPack according to the
Product manual for the DressPack.
