Safety rules 

The battery cabinet operates with batteries that carry high currents and voltages. The properly 

installed battery cabinet is grounded to earth and IP 20 rated against electrical shock and foreign 

objects. Installation and service have to be done by the manufacturer’s qualified technicians or their 
certified service partners 

 

 

WARNING! 

 

SERVICING OF BATTERIES SHOULD BE PERFORMED OR SUPERVISED 
BY PESONNEL KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT BATTERIES AND REQUIRED 

PRECAUTIONS. 

 

THERE IS DANGER OF AN ELECTRICAL IMPACT. 

 

RISK OF EXPLOSION IF USING AN INCORRECT BATTERY TYPE. 

 

WHEN REPLACING BATTERIES, REPLACE WITH THE SAME TYPE AND 

NUMBER OF BATTERIES OR BATTERY PACK 

 

DO NOT DISPOSE OF BATTEREIS IN A FIRE. THE BATTERY MAY 

EXPLODE 

 

DO NOT OPEN OR MUTILATE BATTERIES. RELEASED ELECTROLYTE IS 

HARMFUL TO THE SKIN AND EYES. IT MAY BE TOXIC. 

 

 

This manual contains important instructions that should be followed during installation and operation 

of the battery cabinet. This product is designed for commercial / industrial use only, with UPS 
systems. It is not intended for use with life support and other designated “critical” devices. 

 

Do not exceed battery cabinets or UPS rating labels. 
 

As the battery life depends on the ambient temperature, for the UPS system it is recommended to 

have a location with climate-controlling system to maintain the conditions as follow: 

 
Read all safety and operating instructions before operating the battery cabinet and the connected 

UPS system. Adhere to all warnings on the unit and in this manual. Follow all operating and user 

instructions. 

 

 

NOTE! 

THE BATTERY CABINET AND THE BATTERIES ARE HEAVY AND MAY TIP 

DURING TRANSPORTATION CAUSING SERIOUS INJURY IF UNPACKING 
INSTRUCTIONS ARE NOT CLOSELY FOLLOWED. 

 

 

NOTE! 

SEALED BATTERIES MUST NEVER BE STORED IN A DISCHARGED OR 

PARTIALLY DISCHARGED STATE.  
EXTREME TEMPERATURE, UNDER- AND OVERCHARGE AND 

OVERDISCHARGE WILL DESTROY BATTERIES.
