Safety block diagrams
The safety block diagrams show the components that are included in the safety data
calculations. The temperature sensor(s) and protection relay(s) are not included in the
calculations.

Response times
The response time of the Safe disconnection (STO) function is < 50 ms for all ACS880
drives. For the exact response times for each drive/inverter module type, see the drive/
inverter module hardware manual.
When the function contains the FSO module, the response time of the Safe disconnection
function is < 100 ms.
