Start-up and operation
Contents of this chapter
This chapter describes the start-up procedure of the IGBT supply unit. The information is
valid for cabinet-installed ACS880-207LC IGBT supply units.
Note:
These instructions do not cover all possible start-up tasks of a customized drive. Always
refer to the delivery-specific circuit diagrams when proceeding with the start-up.
The underlined tasks are needed for certain cases only. The option codes (if any) are given
in brackets. The default device designations (if any) are given in square brackets. For
example: Supply unit with the grounding switch ([Q9], F259). The same device
designations are also used in the circuit diagrams, typically.
